also, i think this Mod has been abandoned... it's coming up on a year since the last time the original post has been edited... you might want to find another wysiwyg that is active
You'll be more than welcome, if you want to contribute to this mod.

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

Any MOD add a div with id "message" it's doing something wrong: the id attribute must be unique in the page, it's a constraint from HTML specs.
My MOD is relying on respect of such rule, so it can't be blamed for this error. Please refer to author of other MOD.
Thank you.

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

hunt.tw,
I'm not sure to understand what a "message div of rules" is.
In your screenshot, it looks like the format toolbar is displaying in the wrong place.
Are you sure that you put the class="rich" in the correct place (step 7)?

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

I don't know how to add custom tags (I'm not too good with JS :) ) Can you briefly explain how? There's 2 main function: the first one to convert HTML code to BBCode, the second one to do the opposite conversion. Both functions are composed by a list of codes (HTML and BBCode). To add custom codes,...

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

I just installed and uninstalled this mod. Seemed to perform really badly: Too many excess tags conflicting with each other. Font sizes and colors were always creating conflicts. Missing and buttons. Missing bbcode for align left, center, right, justify. (phpbb doesn't have this by default, so it s...

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

Hi, First of all, this is a great mod...Really good stuff. And I found a small bug  in the editor in inserting similes. When the tinymce editor is first initialized, when you enter a simile. Fine, that one will appear in the editor. After that if you switch back to the BBCode mode and ...

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

Firstly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude, garak, for you effort in making this mod-in-development available to us as well as the support you've given so far from your own time. Secondly, I would like to report what appears to me to be a bug, but I am not sure if it is with my browser (...

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

I cannot see why nothing appears to change... I think I did exactly what you wrote, but my textarea is the same as ever. Are there some rights I have to set or something?? The sourcecode of the returned page looks ok, the JS Tags are there properly rendered: <script type="text/javascript"...

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

Man, you are really boring with these bumps.
I already told that I'm doing this work in my spare time. It's open source, so you can do your enhancements yourself. If you want me to do it, please just wait.
If you keep asking, I'll likely don't do it. :|

Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

Ok, I found the bug: TinyMCE uses span if you select both size and color (while relies on font if you select only size or only color). So, I added another regexp to deal with this, did some tests and it seems to work. Please replace the file editor_plugin.js with the last one. Bonus: I'm working on ...
