Re: Odd Issue - Theme/Style gone...

Ok, I can't delete my post - but it figures I figure it out all of 30 seconds after asking.

It seems the issue is that something happened on the host side to cause the phpBB cache to have corrupted files in it. I just cleared the cache and now everythings back to normal....very odd.

Odd Issue - Theme/Style gone...

All of a sudden, my theme/style (single one, default for all) is now gone. The forum is coming up as a very basic text version with some images, but no formatting or design whatsoever. I'm at a loss for what could cause the issue because the theme is still in the admin control panel - which comes up...

Re: [RC] Easy RSS Atom mod for phpBB3

Should be fairly straightforward I would think to pass them to the site...but I think it would still need to be done plaint text and cause that security issue.

Re: [RC] Easy RSS Atom mod for phpBB3

I think for private forums it's basically a necessity...I was looking over the coding and am not totally sure how you would do it securely...possibly pass the username and password as a argument but that would really be insecure...

Re: [RC] Easy RSS Atom mod for phpBB3

Hrm...actually his question is how do you pass the information for the login to PHP so that it grabs the correct posts. In a non-public forum it shows nothing if not logged in - I'm assuming it uses cookie information to grab the listings. Basically...is there a way to call Phpbb that logs you in or...

OK, so it is hardcoded into the colours.css then...interesting. I'll take a look there, thanks.

Re: [RELEASE] Maxthon 1.0.2 (3.0.2)

Is the user online graphic setting hardcoded? I tried changing the image through the ACP, but it didn't have any effect.

Re: Remove 'Successful Post' Page

I'm wondering if I could do something similar with the login, and have it go immediately to the index instead of 'You have successfully logged in'. I'm looking in UCP.php, and it seems that everything is already a redirect and not a meta_refresh - so I don't completely get where the info is for defi...

Re: Remove 'Successful Post' Page

I haven't looked in the code yet, but is it possible to just have it just refresh the page and not have to go through the intermediate page or is that really into the depths of the coding? (Just so you know, my level of skill is that I'm comfortable, to some degree, editing templates and styles, etc...

Remove 'Successful Post' Page

Before I go in and attempt this, was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on if removing the 'Post successfully submitted!' page would cause a problem or if lowering it's refresh to immediate would cause a problem. I could see how it might cause a database issue, but not sure. It's a very ...
