View new posts in the navigation bar

Hello all! I am looking for a way to change the "View new posts" in my navigation bar so it shows also how many new posts exist. For example "View new posts (3)". Is it possible in any way? I had changed my overall_header.php and instead of <a href="{U_SEARCH_NEW}">{L_SEARCH_NEW}</a> I had put <a hr...

Re: [Beta] JC Topic View Tracker 0.5.2

Is this MOD stable enough to install on live board? I just installed it and it works good. Only thing I cant find is how to set the individual permissions to see the addon, but dunno if its mine or the mod's fault :-) I did the changes Wolfgang (IPB_Refugee) typed a few posts back, that way all the...

Re: Welcome PM on First Login

Ricky had a good point there with the text editor. I was having trouble with another mod too and the solution was that the text format was wrong. Gonna edit the files with notepad++ and try again

PS: ok it was indeed the text format. The mod is up and running smoothly. Thank you all!

Re: Welcome PM on First Login

I reuploaded the files, deleted the cache manually (appart from those 2 files) but the error was still there. When I tried to login to the ACP I got "Access to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed as you do not have administrative permissions." Any other tips? :( PS: while browsing though...

Re: Extending header options

Yup thats what I did and fixed it how I wanted. For anyone else wanting to do the same, remove the code from the post above and insert this code: After: <!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->  •   <a href="{U_PROFILE}"> {L_PROFILE}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- ENDIF --> Insert: <!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_...

Re: Extending header options

Yes I know but I would like to have it in there with the rest. I used to have it like that in my old phpbb2 forum. Call me old fashioned but I liked it :-)
