Re: Norwegian and Danish translation

We depend on translators for this, these changes are therefore usually posted in our private Translators forum. If you'd like to help out with translating languages you know but aren't actively maintained anymore, you can get in touch with Crizzo, our Translations Manager. Any efforts to contribute ...

So when I post I automatically bumps the whole thread!

If there is a way to bump otherwise I have not used it.
No problem, honest mistakes happen. :)
You can always edit your own posts if you have additional information to share, but don't like to bump the entire topic.

Re: phpBB 3.2 end of life in 8 months?

Hi! Thanks for your suggestion. We’re not sure yet what exactly we’re going to do with regards to the life cycles for both 3.2 (its EOL) and 3.3 (its release). The final say for that lies with our Development Team and no decision has been made yet. Once a decision has been reached on either of these...

Re: Performance issue when posting to forum

But for some reason I am unable to modify the style of that forum - I change it in the forum settings, submit the changes but when I come back to the forum settings it retains the old style (I posted another thread about that). I'm batting 1000 here ;) You mean for one specific forum or for the ent...

Re: How to Enable the SSL Certificate

That cookie setting will not automatically activate the certificate for you. It will only change the cookie from phpBB so that your users will stay logged in properly. If you don't know how to activate the certificate you bought, you should get in touch with your host. :)

Re: I see changes but will also the members of my forum??

Yup, those kinds of changes are indeed dependant on the browser cache so won't instantly be updated for all users.
There's no specific time limit for that.

Re: I see changes but will also the members of my forum??

This depends on the kinds of changes you're doing. Simple template changes will be visible for everybody when done (as long as you purge the cache or use the setting in Load Settings as you said). However, some CSS related changes can require you to purge the browser cache. There's no real specific ...

Re: Hide post count

I think James made a small mistake with which part to delete from the viewtopic_body.html file. Try removing this, and don't forget to purge the cache afterwards. :) <!-- IF postrow.POSTER_POSTS != '' --><dd class="profile-posts"><strong>{L_POSTS}{L_COLON}</strong> <!-- IF postrow.U_SEARCH !== '' --...

Let’s please stay on-topic here, everyone. The OP can choose what he’d like to offer. If this isn’t appealing enough for you, then please don’t reply. Feel free to reply in this topic if the request itself is unclear, if you’re interested in helping out you can reach the OP privately.

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.5 Release

As a general reminder to everybody, please create a new topic in the Support Forums if you are experiencing any problems on your own forum that you'd like to get resolved. Providing additional information next to the error message your receiving in there would be helpful. :)

Re: php 7.3 and phpBB 3.2.4

Thanks for letting us know! Would you mind creating a ticket for this in our Bug Tracker?
This makes it a lot easier for our Development Team to keep track of these issues and will usually cause them to be fixed quicker. :)

Open the files mentioned in the Github link linked by Marc in the opening post in a suitable text editor. Remove the red highlighted code and add the green code. Re-upload the files, that’s it.
