Re: Posts Missing After Upgrade to 3.2

Do you still have back-ups of the files and database from your 3.0 version of the board? It could be that the database update didn't fully complete, so you could try to restore your back-ups and run the full update again. Additionally, are all posts/users since June missing or does it appear only so...

Re: Problem with new install of 3.2.3- FORM_INVALID (with Support Request Template attached)

Hi, welcome to phpBB! :) Your problem is quite weird. Usually we'd see something like this when the style version is not compatible with the phpBB version or when you've installed phpBB through an automatic installer from your host. But you downloaded the package yourself from this website, right? W...

Re: Forum Logo not showing on Android tablet

I have no experience testing on an Android tablet, so I can't be sure. But it looks like possibly the CSS changing dimensions have not been updated on the tablet, as the dimensions look like the one from the original phpBB logo. Could you try doing a hard refresh, or using a different browser on the...

Re: Getting a lot of weird css display errors on my new 3.2 board

You can give us the attitude, but everybody is just trying to help. I'm wondering what makes it so difficult for you to understand that. Just to confirm (so we can rule it out). What does the styles/prosilver/style.cfg file tell you? It should give you the proper style version. Additionally, try doi...

Could you show us your VigLink settings?
Additionally, a link to your board would help so we can see the source code for ourselves.

Re: The Question Has to Be Asked ...

Sorry Jim but I have to disagree. As I said earlier the whole ethos since phpBB 3.1 has been that core files are not changed and changes are done either by the use of extensions and/or child styles. If there are "experienced" users who have made core changes then by definition they should be able t...

Re: The Question Has to Be Asked ...

Like Marc said, we've actually changed this in 3.2.3, so the next version everybody will be told in the ACP that file replacement is the preferred way of updating so that will hopefully cause will problems amongst inexperienced users. The problem I have with completely removing it is that there are ...

Re: reCaptcha v2 thinks it's v1?

I haven't checked, but it could be that part of this is due to outdated template files, which might call the CAPTCHA.

A simple way to check would be to set prosilver to your active style (if you have the most recent version of prosilver installed, of course).
