Re: are spammers vindictive?

I really wish spammers, scammers, and malicious code writers would do something more productive with their time, energy, and skill. You and me both on that one. :) But yes, like Kev said, I’m 99.9% sure these are just bots trying every part on the site they can get access to. Nothing to do with a v...

Re: London Dog Rescue Charity Forum Help Please

I would like to remind everyone that this is a topic in our Wanted! section and that the requester has twice stated that she'd like to pay somebody for their services, so please keep that in mind when replying to that topic. OP, if you would like assistance with solving this problem yourself, you ca...

Something went wrong with uploading, we used a wrong directory name.

Re: 3.2.6 - AJAX ERROR, Internal Server Error when trying to change Announcement topic to a Standard.

I can confirm that the same happens here on phpBB.com as well.
Could one of you please report this to the Bug Tracker? The development team will look at it very shortly but needs all possible information.

Re: Translating Categories & Forums & Topic Titles

Please keep in mind that we have a six hour bumping rule. If no-one has replied to your last post, edit your last post. That helps in the readIbility of the forum and helps you as our volunteers usually treat topics in the order of the last post that was done where we start with the oldest. Thanks! :)

Re: [DEV] Titania support

That's because of the versions. In our CDB, you can select which phpBB version the contribution is related to, and when you click that version it will show you contributions from all different categories that are available in that version. Again, there's no official support for this. I've tried to h...

Re: [DEV] Titania support

Sorry, but I have no idea what you're asking.

Your first screenshot shows the Queue Discussion, which is only visible for admins. In your second screenshot, you look at the contributions yourselves. In our instances, when you click such a contribution, you can then go to its support section.

Re: [DEV] Titania support

As you've stated yourself, we do not provide official support for Titania. It's up there for grabs for anybody that wants to take a stab at it, but given its complexity and our priority of supporting phpBB itself, you are on your own in terms of using it. ;) Having said that, in our instance of Tita...

Re: Curious about Vocabulary Usage

Thanks very much for your suggestion. I agree with you that it'd be better to have more clear and consistent terminology across all places where we document these features, whether that's in the ACP of all boards or on our own website. We would appreciate it if you could create a ticket in our Bug T...

Re: Responsive site

I do not want to advertise, I just want to give an example. www.apb-hq.com/forum If you have entered the phone you can see the mobile style special, there is the "switch to full style" option. When you click on it, you get an identical site like your computer. Looks like this board has some sort of...

Re: Responsive site

Not by default. The difference between a mobile-view (which you can disable by "exiting" the mobile view) and responsiveness is that a responsive style automatically resizes based on the screen size. It's build into the code of the style. So that means that it's not easy to disable that without rewr...

Re: Norwegian and Danish translation

We depend on translators for this, these changes are therefore usually posted in our private Translators forum. If you'd like to help out with translating languages you know but aren't actively maintained anymore, you can get in touch with Crizzo, our Translations Manager. Any efforts to contribute ...

So when I post I automatically bumps the whole thread!

If there is a way to bump otherwise I have not used it.
No problem, honest mistakes happen. :)
You can always edit your own posts if you have additional information to share, but don't like to bump the entire topic.

Re: phpBB 3.2 end of life in 8 months?

Hi! Thanks for your suggestion. We’re not sure yet what exactly we’re going to do with regards to the life cycles for both 3.2 (its EOL) and 3.3 (its release). The final say for that lies with our Development Team and no decision has been made yet. Once a decision has been reached on either of these...
