Re: How do you find...

Frankly, I think it would be easier for you to manually paste. That's what I'm looking for....EASE! :D Yesterday I did import those 3 entries into their respective db tables with phpmyadmin showing that the importing was successful. Yet the topic does not appear in my forum after resynch's and cach...

Re: Change hosts

If your backup .sql file is over 2MB's it will not be able to be restored from the ACP. You would need to use a program such as BigDump in order to get it uploaded. The issue with your backup not appearing within the restore option of your ACP means that your backup is probably from an earlier versi...

Re: How do you find...

What do I have to do with these duplicate entries? Is there a procedure that gets followed to remove them? Or some way to make the new imported .sql file to overwrite it?

I'm so close to being out of your hair over this.

Prosilver Special Edition....[Solved]

Quick question that I hope can be answered here.... Is there a way to set this style to fill the page easily? A Define Global Width setting somewhere? It eludes me why, that if it inherits properties of Prosilver, which fills the screen...why the Special Edition does not. So I'm hoping there i...

Re: Having to log in twice...

Check: ACP > General > Load settings > Session length If it's set too short you may experience problems - the default is 3600 seconds. Check...set at 3600 And ACP > Security settings > Allow persistent logins: > Yes Check...set at Yes ACP > Security settings > Persistent login key expiration length...

Re: How do you find...

That means you already have a post_id of 370 in the posts table. So it may be that the post was always there but the topic is missing. That is EXACTLY what I had been experiencing. Remember my previous topic where I said that Searches in my forum showed the topic existed within the search, but tryi...

Re: How do you find...

Quick question, I've been able to extract the individual topics from my older database. So now I have 4 .sql files downloaded per topic that I was trying to recover. (phpbb3_topics, phpbb3_topics_watch, phpbb3_topics_posted, and phpbb3_posts) Can I just take these now and Import them into those spec...

Re: Is an update to the website possible?

Alright thanks. I'll try and send word to one of them. Thanks for the help, any suggestions other than that? It's a shame your board is getting spammed the way it is....I took a look at it yesterday with your first post, and even after you recently cleaned it up, that spammer had besieged your boar...

Re: Having to log in twice...

Did you update your style when you updated the board version? A mismatch in style and board versions can cause a range of problems including log in problems. Yes...Updated my Black Pearl style at the time of updating the PHPBB files and database. Editing to add: It does it on Prosilver and Subsilve...

Having to log in twice...

I've just recently, since updating from 3.0.4 to 3.0.9, noticed that I am having to log into my live forum twice. For instance, I go and log in, click submit.....I get authorized, shown as Logged in on the menu bar, and given the option to click the link to go to the previous page, or sit for a mome...

Would I need any of my phpbb files? Or is this strictly a db backup file that I'd do this with offline?
