Re: phpBB2 forum archive availability

With the archived topics possibly going away, is there a way to place all the posts of a topic on one printer-friendly page? For instance, there's a topic for a mod with 282 pages. I would like something close to a one-click approach for printing it all out (to a PDF).

No.
Also, did you have plans to make available the mod's associated discussions, as they often contain very useful tips/tricks to go along with implementation of the mod?
Yes.
Well, thank you, thank you, thank you! :D

Re: phpBB2 forum archive availability

If anyone has already downloaded all the phpBB 2.0 mods and placed their associated discussions into PDF files, I would gladly pay a reasonable price for these on CD, or an FTP location I can download from. PM me if you want to make a deal. Here you are: http://phpbb2refugees.com/viewtopic.php?t=24...

Re: phpBB2 forum archive availability

I wish there was a straightforward way for copying all the associated mod discussions without doing printouts. I guess I'm going to have to kill a tree. Bummer. There's an archiving project underway. They won't be lost forever. Any details? I would certainly prefer to access these discussions prett...

phpBB2 forum archive availability

In the phpBB2 EOL notice, it says "The phpBB2 support forums have been locked and will remain available in this "archived" state for a number of months". Can anyone tell me if there is a specific date that these will no longer be available? I still refer to the mod discussions fr...

Re: Disable Search Indexing

I would advise everyone using this mod to apply the last two fixes, and then rebuild your search indexes using the mod Rebuild Search . Make sure you make Rebuild Search compatible with Disable Search Indexing first, as follows: # #-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------ # admin_rebu...

Re: Disable Search Indexing

I just discovered a major bug in this mod that is amazing to me, as validation nor any user of the mod has caught it to date. Here's the fix you can apply: # #-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------ # modcp.php # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------ # while ( $row...

Re: Save posts as drafts

Excellent mod here! After applying the mod and working with it for a while, I noticed that when I go back to edit a topic draft, there is no "Delete" button (but there is a delete checkbox), but when editing a reply post draft, the button is there. Why would topic drafts have a delete che...

Re: What was changed in phpBB3 to prevent Firefox double views?

I found the exact cause of my particular problem. http://brian.pontarelli.com/2006/05/02/is-your-browser-requesting-a-page-twice/#comment-2100 When there's a "url()" specified in inline CSS, it triggers a second page load. Some mod along the line added "background-image: url({T_BODY_B...
