Cheers Mark, I see what you mean, as a lot of the codes work in that way, i.e. stripping data, but then again is including that sort of formatting not against the RSS standards (no ideas myself but it seems logical). A few other points in the following: http://www.4winmobile.com/news/rss2.png - In t...

I hopeit helps and it useful to you. As I say I added it in and no difference was seen at all. As an interim any ideas why adding the above did not work? If you want the original piece of code that this was extracted from please drop me an email / PM and I'll send it over in teh origianl format - mi...

It looks like to get the missing functionality on the BBCodes, etc I need to add in the foillowing lines - note some will be corrupted due to the parsing on site here. // [code] and [ /CODE ] for posting code (HTML, PHP, C etc etc) in your posts. $post_text =str_replace("[code:1:$uid]","", $post_tex...

Hi Mark, the good news is that it is now working for me, the only things changed were the fixing of the code shown on the previous page and recopying the data over. Weird if it is the later as I've never seen this sort of problem before in FTP'ing any file in to place. The only problem I have now is...

Did we ever get an answer to this one?

Feel free to register on my site, try to generate the feed as a registered user and see if the errors mean anyhting to you. At least that might help us all out, if not I'll have to drop Smartfeed and go back to a basic feed again :(

Has anyone had any luck using this mod with the Plus version of phpbb? When I click on the Generate URL button I get a few Javascript errors, mostly "object expected" stuff. EDIT: I also noticed that if I'm not logged in, it works fine. I don't know what the Plus version of phpBB is. There are many...

Right, not knowing a lot of PHP, looking at the working viewtopic.php in IntegraMod would it be as simple as taking the code here: $bbcode_uid = $row['bbcode_uid']; $message = $row['post_text']; $message = strip_tags($message); $message = preg_replace("/\[.*?:$bbcode_uid:?.*?\]/si", '', $message); $...

Okay, so there are a few options as I see it: - Remove all BBCode - and quotes would show up as part of the text. How would this work, something like: $msg = ereg_replace("[\[*\]]", "", $msg); ? - Try and add additional filters into your code as you originally envisaged - Or maybe call the existing ...

Cheers for the reply Mark, in that cae wlould it not be easier to just add code to strip out the BBCodes entirely as an option, would that be more feasible?

Mark, yeah IM is very invasive and a complete alternate to PhpBB with a lot of Mods. The BBCode can be found oneline here: http://www.4winmobile.com/bbcode.zip Interestingly the latest version of the Digest Mod handles all the codes completely painlessly so it may not be that hard a job? Let me know...

Mark, understand what you are saying. Especially as the IM portal includes hundreds of Mods (although not that many on the BBCodes) and I've added a few BBCode Mods myself :)

If I sent you my bbcode.php file and a donation of say $30 would that help at all?

Argh, forget the bit about the template patch - just spotted one should edit the constants file :)

The colour/font formatting is still an issue though.

Mark, just installed SmartFeed - very impressed, but we're finding some issues when running under IntegraMod, these are: - Font size / colour settings seem to generate weird codes instead of the changes indicates by the BBCode. i.e. >[size=9:ea495928ee][color=blue:ea495928ee][b:ea495928ee]Daron Brew...
