Re: Ban all gmail "multiple dot" users

Just about anything visible to the public is also visible to bots (bots are recognised by the user_agent >>> unknown user_agent = Guest and the spambots change user_agent regularly).

Also you're making it a piece of cake for human spammers by providing the answer to the QA.

Re: Ban all gmail "multiple dot" users

... For Q&A, you can create difficult/random multiple Q&A, create a post where all Question-Answers are and provide a link on registration form to it, if your forum is visible without registering. So user can open the post to find answers. No need of Googling. You've lost me there. I though...

I'm looking for a way to select a group of topics and then move or delete them all at once in my forum. Is there a way to do this?

Re: [3.3][BETA] Anonymous Posts

Re: Hi! Haven't used phpBB in years, need advice on old DB found

I don't have and of the phpBB files, just the database. I don't even remember what version of phpBB I was using. There's probably a config_table in the database. And it probably has a field version >>> that should tell you the phpBB version. How would I go about getting it to work again? I have the...

Re: Installing a second language pack

I think this is what you are looking for. No. ACP > tab PERMISSIONS > Permissions masks > View administrative permissions > look up your username and the view permissions Also ACP > tab SYSTEM section Module management > Administration Control Panel > General > Board configuration

Re: Fast forwarding videos

Assuming this is phpBB-related (which currently I doubt): which videoplayer extension are you using?, which version?
