Re: [BETA] Search back (x minutes, days, month)

I didn't realize this until now Balint, but this exact functionality actually exists already in pphBB3. If at the main listing of forums, you click on the "View Active Topics" link, then on that new page at the bottom, you will see the same pulldown that your MOD is. I didn't realize phpBB already h...

Re: "Mark forums read" not working after 3.0.3

Well I tried that code change just above, and it works. Why aren't others seeing this problem??

Re: [BETA] Search back (x minutes, days, month)

Thanks for updating, but I am running your older version 1.0.3 with phpBB 3.0.7-PL1 and it seems to be working fine.

Is there something somewhere that won't work right?

Thanks,
Bob

Re: Error on Login...

So I just saved the "common.php" file in that "UTF-8 NO BOM" mode, and that fixed it. Never heard of "NO BOM" so I was a bit thrown off.

Thanks,
Bob

Re: Error on Login...

Hello, I am having this same problem. I have the MOD working, I just can't get into the ACP panel because of this exact same error. I have Notepad++ now, so what file(s) do I have to save in UTF-8 format?? The MOD is "SearchBack" and these are the only files I needed to edit: Files to Edit index.php...

Re: [BETA] Search back (x minutes, days, month)

This is such a GREAT MOD, it really needs to be included in the Mainline.

Anyway, will this run on phpBB 3.0.6 ?

And is this the latest version of the SearchBack MOD?:
MOD Version: 1.0.3
phpBB Version: 3.0.0-3.0.2

Thanks!

"All Posts since x hours" or "All Posts since 1 Day"

Hey folks, I had a great searchback MOD I had installed on my 3.0.2 installation last year that was awesome. It put a pulldown menu on the main forum page and would give you a listing of "All posts since last 24 hours" or "All posts since last 15 minutes", etc, depending on what you selected in the ...

Re: Former Administrators still receive registration notificatio

Ok, thanks... So this user is getting some Admin permissions because for some reason he's part of a "Founder type". I can't find this anywhere either. Any help will be appreciated again. Thanks. I have to tell you this permission implementation needs to be completely reworked because.. well... it's ...

Former Administrators still receive registration notificatio

Former Administrators still receive registration notification emails, despite these users being removed as Administrators. A little while ago I added a user as another board Administrator, in addition to myself. This other user began receiving emails when new users would sign up for an account on my...

Re: ACCKK! Messed up bulletin board phpBB 3.02

I finally got my ftp server to work.... went in and deleted almost all the files in the "cache" directory.

That worked!!!

What causes this problem?

Thank you!

Re: ACCKK! Messed up bulletin board phpBB 3.02

I'll probably have better luck if I delete most of the files in the "cache" directory. I remember doing this before for some other issue.

So in the "cache" folder, I can delete everything but two files, right? I have to keep the ".htaccess" file and the "index.htm" file. Is this correct ??

Re: ACCKK! Messed up bulletin board phpBB 3.02

When I click into the "Administration" link, I get a blank page. Great.

Is there a URL to get directly to the page where I can purge stuff?

thanks,
Bob
