Tapatalk has issues, some quite serious, and has always had issues. It never managed to get approved here and was never resubmitted so no, not an option.

But they’re ‘good bots’, why would your users be concerned about them? They don’t count against user numbers. If you’ve got three members it shows three members. Don’t forget the phpBB maintenance cycle is often driven by the vendors and their versioning, as has been seen with PHP lately. You can’t very well ignore changes made by the supplier of your scripting language and a lot of those changes are customer driven.

Incidentally, did you actually write to the dB in the first place? I’m assuming not as you tried running the v2 convertor.
