Can you supply a link to your board and post a screencap of where it shows the wrong statistic please?

Re: Total post count not accurate

What makes you think the post count isn't accurate? Do you have the Increment post counter turned on?

ACP> Permissions> Groups forum permissions> Select the registered users and the forum you want to check> Advanced permissions> misc (or may be post tab now) tab> Increment post counter

Re: Need help recovering our phpBB Site

Try contacting BlueHost, I'm seeing a 404, they should know what happened.

They might then think they have not received any other replies and never visit the board again. Not everyone understands that they will only receive one notification until they visit.

Re: A small problem with the ssl certificate

FWIW - It should go at the top after the <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> but if it works it works.

Re: How to activate memcached?

Yes, that was for memcache, I'd never heard of the other one so thought it was a typo. What's wrong with the default cache?

Note: I see now they are essentially the same they've just been named differently by the authors.

Re: How to activate memcached?

You need to update config.php and set $acm_type to memcache assuming your host has the PHP memcache extension installed.
