Re: Help with permissions for forums

Did you follow the instructions I posted to the letter? I can’t remember anyone failing following them. Without being able to see the board makes it quite difficult to diagnose if you do have the permissions set correctly.

Re: listener.php

Check your server error logs for a clue to the 500 error. What are you doing when this happens? It looks like there’s a BOM at the beginning of the file you posted.

PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes)
The error says the memory allocated to PHP (128 MB) isn’t enough. You need to speak to your host and ask them to increase the memory allocation. You should show them the error if they question it.

Maybe it’s the way phpBB is constructed these days
I tried it as a stand-alone html file and it still won’t show so that blows that out of the water. Maybe it’s a browser thing?

Re: adding a new feed on the forum index page

I’ve had a bit of a play with feed2js.org and I can’t get it to display either. The feed is being generated, as can be seen by right click + view source, but it won’t show. Maybe it’s the way phpBB is constructed these days I’m not sure, maybe someone with a better grasp on the programming side of t...
