I definitely don't read the licence agreement, and to prove that no-one does an old piece of software I wrote in school (simple media app with rip to mp3 using lame.dll) on the licence it had a section on your imortal soul and future earnings. I doubt it's legally binding but it was there to prove t...

It depends what you mean by the core. I run only 2 sites at the moment that use phpBB, one is public and one is very selective. I have been known to install phpBB and use the system to build a fully dynamic site around it, where the forum is not the real main part of the site, but the user base and ...

It's really quite unstable. It makes my CPU useage just spike and makes the computer lag badly sometimes, normally when burning a disc or two.

Sign in seems to have a bug that fails first time, very strange.

Friday the 1th actually dates back to the time of Jesus if I am correct, something to do with Good Friday. I am not completely sure, it was a long time ago.

I had Trillian but I hated it, I have Trillian Pro with loads of plugins to do things, yet it just didn't look nice. I hated that it would not really show the difference between the services it offered. It also used to pop-up when I was typing somewhere else and I'd send the wrong text to the wrong ...

I had things like the Sinclair Spectum and such, a few gaming consoles (Master System, Mega Drive, NES, SNES, Game Gear, etc) but my first *real* computer was a standard 486 DX. It had like 8mb of RAM and a 3gb HDD. It ran Windows 3.1 (not even 3.11). I used it for basic word proccessing and school,...

I live by a bus/train station. The busses in my experience are slow and unreliable, I was once at the hospital and waited an hour and fouty minutes for a bus. The trains however are impecable, every 15 minutes but only take you into Liverpool City Center or a small near by town called Ormskirk. I tr...

Yes, I had this problem too. I got spammed like mad. I turned on visual confirmation and *poof it stopped. Bots can't read the image. Bots can read the image, it's not that hard really. ;) This solution posted above is good, I mean you'll still get registrations but you won't be linking to them. It...

I have all my hosting on the one server, with [spam]. They are pretty reliable, and give me all I need. I considered running my own server, I have IIS and SQL Server running at home (SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition). I mainly use that for drag and drop from University. I decided a webhost was best...
