Yes...drag the phpbb2 folder into the public_html folder, then go to yourdomain.com/phpbb2/install/install.php
This will set up the database
And just to make sure.....permissions should be 666 not 66

There is a mod called the Approve posts mod
You need to download this and go through the installation process. It could be in the mod database or just in the Mod section of this forum.

slight problem upgrading to 2.0.8

Hi all,

I just updated to 2.0.8 and now when I click on the Go to Administration Panel link at the bottom of my site...i just takes me to the forum index. I can still access the ACP by going to /phpbb2/admin...but the link just doesnt work correctly.

Any Help?

Hey guys.. First off I would like to wish everyone a merry christmas. I would like to password protect all the pages of my forum...such as the FAQ, Search, memerlist etc... I already have all the permission set to REG but that wont quite cut it. Does anyone know how i can do this? Thank you and happ...
