Re: Thumbnail resizing

Thanks for the swift reply Brf,
To repost all of them would take far too long. Old images in posts will have to stay at the smaller size then.

Might be a good idea for future code updates to include a re-sync option for thumbnails associated with images hosted by the phpBB software.

Re: Thumbnail resizing

Just to clarify what must be a difficult question. I changed the image posting sizes in the admin backend so users images show a bigger thumbnail in their posts. After doing this all the original posts retain there small thumbnails but all new posts display the bigger thumbnails. Is there a way to r...

Thanks again Graham

Could you possibly send me a PM with a quick 'idiots guide' to upgrading the forum to 2.0.8 please.

I sought help sometime ago with the database issue but never resloved it. No-one, I might add, suggested that just changing a few files would do it.

Thanks for your reply Graham I can send 'mass mail' using the forum, but only to a specific group. If I try to send to 'all users' then I get the error listed above. So the server works OK, its a phpbb problem. I tried to upgrade to 2.0.7 but could not get the existing database to upload to it. Not ...

Is 2.0.7 compatible with 2.0.4 database ?

I can't get my database to upload to the new 2.0.7 version.

the new version contains extra tables in the database, is that the reason the backup won't work?
