OK caution went to the wind. I just did a search/replace on all the files in the email directory and changed {PASSWORD} to ******** It's not emailing passwords any more !! Just realised I've also changed the one that sends a new password if you've forgotten yours - must put that one back as it shoul...

Sorry to hijack the thread with a quick question - it is related. If I edit the appropriate email txt files, can I stop the site sending people their passwords in emails. Which files do I need to change - I'm thinking both the admin_ and user_ prefixed files. It's not so bad for a forum generated re...

OK I've looked through all the documentation I can find, and searched this forum, but I can't find a definitive answer.
