I am using an indexer (non-Google) on my internal corporate intranet. Therefore, in this case, I am not concerned with the built-in security. If it were a public site then I would keep the security intact.

If you have changed the appropriate file for your style and purged the cache in the ACP, there is one more possibility. Open ACP :: Styles :: Templates and refresh your style's template.
