Change forum URL

Hi,

I've just installed my forums, which is located at: http://www.mydomain.com/phpBB3/phpBB3

Is there anyway to change this to http://www.forums.mydoman.com/

I'd also like to know how to turn on URL friendly, or whatever it is.

Re: Where do I install phpBB3?

Would that then make it "www.mydomain.com/phpBB3" to get to forums?

What if I wanted forums.mydomain.com?

Okay, i've done everything. Almost.. Whats a URI? I tried http://forums.topgearforums.net/database_update.php And got: The requested URL /database_update.php was not found on this server. Updating from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2.

Hi, I've downloaded the 3.0.1 - 3.0.2 patch file. I open the folder and it has phpBB-3.0.0_to_3.0.2.patch | pbpBB-3.0.RC8_to_3.0.2.patch etc. Do I remove all of them except phpBB-3.0.1_to_3.0.2.patch? And where do I upload the folder? I have Smart FTP Client. I just need to know where. Regards, Ste.
