then if you access www.domain.com/attach_container/onefile.zip even if you're not on the board, you can access the "onefile.zip" file. Hi... If your host is running Apache, you can utilize the .htaccess file to prevent the hotlinking... This is what I've got from Googling... RewriteEngine on Rewrit...

Hm... As I was saying I was able to upload 300KB of ZIP file ...

I don't see why anyone wouldn't upgrade though. Why would someone stay on 2.0.13 when there are bugs in it? Four reasons I can think of... #1. They are too lazy to update... #2. They are not capable of update because somebody else have done the job for them... #3. They have too much of other works ...

No offense to anyone here, but after this hubbub, I think it's time for me to move to SMF and stop all this silliness with phpBB... too darn much maintenance... What maintenance do you need??? I don't understand... I'd rather have a software that gives me a choice to upgrade rather than the o...

Thanks for the reply, NightriderXP... :) I must be going crazy with this... It turns out that I don't get to get that parse error message anymore IF I delete the line that is commented out... (The code that you see in NightriderXP's post) I absolutely have no idea WHY PHP is hicupping at the comment...

But if the problem is not a database that is broken? The database has been repaired several times, with no other result but "OK". And the forum still does not work. /marcus I am no expert, but if that's the case, I'd try to install another copy of phpBB on the local computer and restore the databas...
