Re: PHP errors - Cannot modify header information

Indeed - all my sites on that hosting account have been hacked. Several files across the server had a virus script inserted in them as per this Symantec Security blog entry http://www.symantec.com/connect/blogs/new-obfuscated-scripts-wild-lgpl and as a result had deleted the end php statement. I'm r...

Re: PHP errors - Cannot modify header information

I had a look at the file on the server and it seems to have a script added after the ?> command somehow - not sure if it was hacked, added by the style I'm using or the hosts have added it but everything was working fine until midnight. I've reuploaded the original from the distribution zip file aga...

Re: Question about database tables

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I had a blonde moment because my friend deleting the forums would have removed all the permissions from the newer backup wouldn't it - DOH! Will go and import the old ones :D

Question about database tables

Hi, I'm trying to recover a 3.0.4 forum for a friend who somehow deleted all the forums on their board which means the forums/topics/posts related tables are all empty. I've got a backup from some time ago which I can use to recover the bulk of the missing posts but we want to keep the up-to-date us...

Re: Prime Links

I've just installed this on a 3.0.4 board but it doesn't seem to be working - everything is still opening in the same window so I must have done something wrong. I have uploaded all the files, edited functions_content.php as shown and cleared my cache. I edited prime_links.php to enter my domain nam...

Re: Hide topic, but not whole forum, from specific users

I have a similar situation with at least one thread on my board that I only want a certain group of users to be able to read. I have had to move it to a new category of it's own to achieve this with the current permission levels but due to the nature of the discussions in it it should really be in t...

Re: Custom BBCodes

Hi, Something's changed with my YT BBCode now I've upgraded to 3.0.1. I have the open links in a new window mod installed and it worked fine in 3.0.0, however when I click on an embedded YT vid on the upgraded board it plays the embedded version OK but it's opening a new window/tab with the video pl...

Re: Cannot log in as admin

I have this problem too - posted about it HERE a couple of weeks ago. I was using subsilver2 from the v 3.0.0 installation package with just a couple of changes to the CSS file to change font sizes and add my forum logo and I couldn't understand why it just suddenly stopped working (it had been fine...

Moderator list order

Hi, I've searched but can't find a solution to my rather trivial problem. Is there any way to change the order in which forum moderators are displayed ? We have 2 admins and 2 global Moderators on our board (all 4 of us are in the Global Mods group as well as the 2 in Admins with the default groups ...

Re: Can't access ACP any more

I've now reinstalled a fresh copy of the phpbb 3.0.0 files from the full download package zip file) on my server (just overwriting my config.php with the old one containing my db access details) and it still won't work. I've looked for the lines of code to change in the suggested topic above but the...
