Mark as closed. What no one mentioned is PHP being the cause. I was using 4.4.2 which is lower than the convert can use. (for me) I upgraded my PHP to 5.2.6 which is the latest stable version, re-loaded PHPBB 3.0.1 and did the convert. That worked and was a simple change to make. I appricate the sug...

I guess I have everyone stumped on this error. I have tried reinstalling several times, but it stops on the converting process around the 20th step.
