Re: Topic Text in Mouse Over

You need to double check the edits you did to subsilver2/template/viewforum_body.html...there's two so shouldn't be too difficult. If you are still having problems, please post up your viewforum_body.html file using the code bbcode tags and I'll take a quick look at it for you. Thanks for your repl...

Re: Custom BBCodes

Apologies in advance if this has been requested before, but is it possible to disable parsing of bbcodes within a certain bbcode tag? For example: [bbcode]this area of text won't be parsed as bbcode, so i can type something like asfsf and the brackets will appear as literal brackets[/bbcode] I thoug...

Re: Topic Text in Mouse Over

Works great in prosilver based styles, but I get this error with subsilver2: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /var/www/includes/template.php(175) : eval()'d code on line 60 That's if I click on a forum right after purging the cache. If I refresh the page, or go back and click on it ag...

Re: Users don't stay signed in

Thanks for the responses. localhost cannot set cookies, so the SID must be passed via the URL. If this is not done (e.g. opening the board in another window), the session will not be carried over. If this were the case, would the problem still be evident when visiting the from another machine on the...

Re: Users don't stay signed in

Sorry  URL: None. Currently running on a local server. Version of phpBB3: 3.0.2 Was this a fresh install or a(n) update/upgrade/conversion (please be specific)? Fresh install Did you use an automated wizard provided by your host to install phpBB? No. MODs you have installed: Advanced Quick Rep...

Users don't stay signed in

The thing is, if someone signs in and then opens up a new browser window/tab, they are no longer signed in on the new window, but they are on the original window and can browse normally. The user can then log in again on the new tab and all is well, but A) that's annoying, and B) that probably messe...

Style-independent quick reply

I'm trying to find a quick reply mod for phpbb3 that will work with all styles. I have several styles installed for the users to choose from and I'd like to have a quick reply function for all of them. Can something like this been done? If it's been done already, I'm sorry; could you provide a link?...

Only showing certain number of smilies

I installed quite a bit of extra smilies on my forum and now when a user goes to post, every one of them is listed on the right hand side of the screen, taking up a lot of screen space. What I'd like to do is show only the first 20 or so and have a link that reveals the rest when clicked. I've been ...
