Re: security_question

Thankyou very much.

Copying over those two files now allows the mod to work with my Aeolus template.

Much appreciated, and simpler than I feared.

*this mod is surely one of the most useful and time saving that phpBB has ever had. I salute the author.

Re: security_question

I've installed this great security mod... Works fine for Subsilver template. However, for the Aeolus template users get the following error when they click on the 'Profile' menu button. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/username/public_html/phpBB2/includes/template.php(127) : eval(...

Why do they not upgrade? 1-Stupid/ignorant 2-lazy 3-or both of the above. -- It always astounds me how so many boards are still using versions 2.0.4/13. A lot of boards still don't have user visual ID - often since the template/theme they use is also out of date, so they have literally dozens of rob...

I would always be one for trimming out junk posts, or users that register but never post once. Sure it reduces the overall counts - and some admins are clearly obsessed with getting ever bigger totals, but it lowers the quality of a board/site. -- Yes, I'd suggest a ruthless regime of deleting dead ...

1. deny everything.
2. remove the thread, clean the database.
3. do nothing to help the police, remember that they are against you.
4. lawyers...waste of time. just follow steps 1-3 above, and save yourself a few thousand £

hmm. I have the same problem. --- Fixed: 1. either switch to the latest version of the subsilver template or... 2. get a more recent version of the theme template you are using. Re: Question about upgrading from 2.0.6 to 2.0.7

If I am upgrading versions specified in the subject, and I have downloaded the changed files. All I need to do is unzip the 2.0.6 to 2.0.7 zip file in the main zip file and then upload all the files in that file to the server in place of the older files? Thanks!
