Re: Add Column in ACP_Groups

You should request a mod. I should just need to edit two files; includes/acp/acp_groups.php and adm/style/acp_groups. Hardly sounds worthy of a Mod, but suppose I could. I really just need to know what the name in the database is to get what I want to display and then figure out how to add it to th...

Re: Add Column in ACP_Groups

if they are not in that list then they are activated. you don't choose the registered user group, everyone is in the registered user group by default. you don't put people in that group they get in that group by the act of registering. robert Yes, I realize those in the "Inactive Users" list are NO...

Re: Add Column in ACP_Groups

That list just shows the ones that haven't activated yet.
I need to know who in that group HAS activated.

THANKS for your reply though. :)

Add Column in ACP_Groups

I'm using version 3.0.13-PL1 I've picked the Registered Users Group for ALL new users, but things are getting crazy. Is there a way to add a column in the Registered Users Group list of which users are still Inactive and those that have completed activation? Once the user has completed their activat...

[split from] Discuss: phpBB 3.0.12 released

I vaguely remember reading that you needed to upgrade the PHP package on HostGator to get the new version to run properly. My server is currently running PHP version 5.2.17.

Must I upgrade PHP to run phpBB 3.0.12?

Thanks!

Limit Editing Time

Running PHPBB 3.0.11 I have the global Limit Editing Time set to 60 minutes, and I'd like to keep it that way. However, I have several users that need it increased (or unlimited like a Moderator) so they can edit certain posts. Is there any way to allow that without making them a Moderator? Any help...

Awww, once again, THANK YOU!

Guess I should learn what all those names mean in there.
Does there happen to be a listing somewhere of what all the files do?

You are now my SuperHero of the day!

It is caused by this line in the user_add function in includes/functions_user.php:

Code: Select all

'user_lastmark'			=> time(),
THANK YOU Brf! I remmed out that line and now it's working just as I want it to!

Every PHPBB board I've ever been a New User on does this exact same thing. I didn't feel my URL was important.

Re: [Discuss] phpBB 3.1 "Ascraeus" to require PHP 5.3.2

There is currently no specific date for when phpBB 3.1.x will be released (it's not even in beta yet). Ohhhh, so then there isn't any rush to get this done then. That's good to know. Have you tried asking the reseller? As for the code to your .htaccess, I seem to remember reading that somewhere. Ho...

Re: [Discuss] phpBB 3.1 "Ascraeus" to require PHP 5.3.2

If this is not the appropriate place to ask this, would someone be kind enough to let me know where to post. I do want to be able to use the latest version, Ascraeus, when it's released. (Approximately when will that be?) I am currently hosted by HostGator through a reseller. Therefore, HostGator wi...
