Re: problem updating to 3.0.9

It really depends on your board setup. If you don't have a lot of MODs (or any!) you can probably safely merge. However, if you have a heavily customized board, you will want to look at the proposed changes and make sure that it won't break any MODs you have installed.

@leewells2000:
Have you looked into updating this Style for 3.0.8 yet?

Re: [Release] DivineBlack for phpBB 3.0 RC1-3

Can someone remind me if anyone is continuing to manage this Style for updates, or if it is open to the community since the original site for it is gone? If the latter, I may look into posting an updated version. (I remember the last license change forbids the distribution of modified version.)

Re: Cannot install AutoMod on XAMPP

Excellent news! I was just Googling for this issue myself to get information and I find my problem has already been solved! (Well, at least addressed. We'll see how it works when the next update is pushed. ;))

That's good to know; as long as you did get their permission. (As much as I want things to be free and libre, I still respect the wishes of the developers.)

Re: [Release] ProBlack : For Phpbb 3.0.x

The site where the developer (Darthorx) hosted this style and Divine Black has been offline since last year and he has not been able to restore the sub-site that specialized in phpBB (he has currently only restarted the forum for his Everquest guild). The most recent license for ProBlack and Divine ...

Re: View or mark unread posts

I've found that MOST programs with syntax highlighting fail when dealing with multi-line string literal spans. +1 on "don't use Dreamweaver to edit code". It's much better to use a dedicated text editor for that, and leave Dreamweaver for high-level layout design concepts. Most good editors include ...

Re: [Release] ProBlack : For Phpbb 3.0.x

Since Darthorx has started working on this style again and released a new version, and in accordance with his new License Agreement for same, I will no longer produce the updates that I have in the past. All links in this thread as well as the files on my server for previous updates have been removed.

Re: View or mark unread posts

A drop-down entry for "Mark selected as read" makes more sense to me, structurally. Since there already is a "Mark All" link for PMs, adding a "Mark all as read" option would be redundant.

Re: [Release] DivineBlack for phpBB 3.0 RC1-3

Since I had to do it anyway for my own benefit, here is Divine Black updated to compliance with the 3.0.5 subsilver2 template.

Re: [Release] ProBlack : For Phpbb 3.0.x

I haven't even updated my own board to 3.0.4 yet (too many incremental changes; I need to reinstall from the ground up).

The changes are simple to make. I suggest using WinMerge to help.

Re: [Release] DivineBlack for phpBB 3.0 RC1-3

This isn't an official style, so it's up to the original creators to update it, really. You could also try to do it yourself using WinMerge or a similar program.

Re: [Release] DivineBlack for phpBB 3.0 RC1-3

DivineBlack is based on subsilver2. All I did was merge in the changes I found.
