Hide "Join" "Posts" "Location," etc.

When a user posts, various statistics are displayed with each post, usually under the username and avatar, such as:
  • Joined: Sun Jul 27, 2008 9:32 pm

    Location: Brooklyn, NY
Is there a way to turn that off? On short posts, it usually just created unnecessary real estate.
