Sure it works , it's phpBB ;) Yep, technically, it's great: fully featured and valid CSS2 and xHTML1 (although, as its served as text/html, it's a shame it ain't HTML4... but hey... you can't have everything , not even a free lunch, for nothing... and it ain't too hard to find the <br> tags and rep...

Hi Eelke, Thanks for the advice - it makes sense :) Leave it there, for now. Do what you can to get it rolling. If it works, you can look into developing your own template or invest time in finding a good third party template that suits your needs. It does work... sure, some bugs/over-sights are alm...

In less than a day, I have got a board up and running with 2 forums, 4 threads, 6 members and 8 posts... that's a curiously pleasing pattern, in my rose-tinted specs, anyhoo :) Sure, I'm bound to find a few bugs ...

Hi Kevin, Thanks for the reply :) There aren't really any hard and fast rules to make it work. Yeah... I sorta guessed as much... but I have a hunch I'll break a few anyhoo ;) I'd say though that one mistake a lot of new boards make is to create way too many forums. Seeing a page with 30+ completely...
