Re: [Split] v3.0.6 Persistent Login not working

Edit: Nope, seems I was too hasty. Logging on to http://www.phpbb.com show that persistent login doesn't work for me, neither here in this support forum nor the forum I updated from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6. Edit2: Hmm, I almost always use the magic wand (password saver) in Opera, maybe I simply forgot to tic...

Terms of use? Are we allowed to change it?

I am wondering if I am allowed to change the "terms of use" found on the phpBB forum. With other words, may I change the terms of use text in its entirety or in part, or perhaps not at all? The reason for my question, is parly the nature of terms of use, which in my experience (on some forums) are d...

Re: [Split] v3.0.6 Persistent Login not working

I guess the following is of little importance, but one.com, the hosting service, has informed me of an upcoming upgrade: "Your web space at One.com will on 2010-01-06 be upgraded from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.3. PHP 5.3 is the latest and most stable version. This version also has improved performance compar...

[Split] v3.0.6 Persistent Login not working

I too experience an issue with persistent log-in, which seem to have stopped working as it used to. Also, it seems like even this very forum experience the same issue. I am using Opera 10.10 browser, with Java off, and Javascript enabled. Hm, I hope someone can comment on this, if there is an issue ...

[SOLVED] Re: Using the Tab key for indentation? bbCode

Ugh, digging through google searches I found a bbCode that seem to work. Not being into webdesign I had to just try stuff out, and the following appear to work as intended: BBCode usage: [pre]{TEXT}[/pre] HTML replacement: <pre style="font-family:'Lucida Grande','Trebuchet MS',Verdana,Helvetica,Aria...

Re: Using the Tab key for indentation?

You seem to imply that the functionality I am looking for is possible. So it seem pertinent to ask, if there is any way to create indentations somehow. Using the Tab key would seem natural, but perhaps there is some bbCode trick for what I am wanting here. If it is not possible, I would appreciate t...

Using the Tab key for indentation?

Is there any way to use the Tab key to create some kind of table like structure, where the words (spaced out with the Tab key) line up perfectly vertically? Like this, where x = a word/name/sentence: x x x x x x x x x x x x Pressing the Tab key in say Wordpad work as intended, but in a forum post, I...

Re: URL bbcode; Is this working as intended?

People using the forum should not have to already know how to properly use the url markup for making the hyperlinks properly. Besides, surely bbcodes are best be used in the simplest and easiest manner. If the user can simply type the "hyperlink url" and then the "label" without having to think abou...

URL bbcode; Is this working as intended?

PhpBB has a bbcode named "Url", but I have to ask if this is broken because I swear I have seen similar bbcode work differently on some other forum. If I press Url I simply get this: This seems wrong. Here I have to manually type in e.g: [url=http://xxxxxxxxxxx.net]This is a website[/url] Does anyon...

Re: I can't access my acp panel HELP!!!!

Your login link is there on the screen on the upper left top corner'ish, but its not immediatly visible as link color seem to be the same as the background color.

If you drag and select all content on your page, you should see your hidden text appear.

[Solved] Subsilver2 - How to change gif's to png's?

I cannot find the code that explicitly state that e.g the "post reply" button is linked to a gif image ("button_topic_reply.gif"). The gif image itself is found in the style folder, but the template file only show the following code that apparantly link to some other code elsewhere. <a href="{U_POST...

Prosilver question about modifying signature positioning

When viewing a post containing a users signature e.g a text phrase, with the prosilver style, the signature text and what I guess is the "border-top-color" line seem to be positioned and adjust itself with the users text or post content. I was wondering if adding some simple markup in the css file c...
