What PHP version do you run? My PHP is Version 4.3.4 and my host is now claiming that it isn't possible to upgrade to a later version on their RAQ550 servers! From what I've seen in other posts here version 2.0.11 of the forum still isn't safe with older PHP versions so there is no way I can reopen...

According to this link phpBB is not the only board affected:

I've had the decision made for me, my host has disabled my board and hasn't replied to my request to upgrade its PHP version :?

NeverEverNoSanity worm

Help! My forum was hacked yesterday and all the PHP and index.htm files on my site replaced by the NeverEverNoSanity page. I deleted all the files and replaced with backups and checked here for a new version of the forum. This morning I spent a couple of hours upgrading from version 2.0.10 to 2.0.11...

2.0.6 Detailed Version Info?

I installed phpBB for the first time this week and have finally fixed a few issues I was having and the forum is up and running :) Unfortunately I just noticed that my forum says 'Powered by phpBB 2.0.1 © 2001, 2002 phpBB Group' at the bottom. The file I downloaded last week was called 'phpBB-2.0.6....

Automated recovery of split SQL files ?

I got thinking while I was uploading the backup via the phpmyadmin method (my spare time for 3 days and counting). What I really need is an automated script for phpmyadmin where I just point it at my 100+ split sql files and it processes one at a time (as it or the server cant cope with the big file...

No restore?

I've been away for a couple of days and no reply so I guess no support on this topic? My host won't talk SQL either :( Maybe all the other people who have got stuck on this subject in various threads in this forum should start a self-help group for dissillusioned SQL newbies? I've gone back to my sh...

Backup / Restore support?

I've spent quite a while trying to sort this out since my last post and still no workable solution. Its taken 4 hours to restore a fraction of my forum using phpmyadmin and I've searched this forum and found numerous cases similar to my own but no proper fix? Surely someone has experience of this an...

More Restore problems

I recently succesfully converted my yabb 1.3 forum over to phpBB and after setting permissions for my moderators it worked fine (so far). My problem is that I had to move to a new server so I backed everything up using the inbuilt backup feature. I reinstalled a basic setup of phpBB on the new serve...
