Re: Write(Post) topics but not Read topics, Permissions

Still nothing?

It seems clear that turning off "READ" permission disables posting as well is a bug. Why is this still happening 4 years later?

Re: [RC] Appforms 1.0.2

I've read through the thread and I don't see this anywhere. Am I the only one that caught it? Look in the first image in the first post where it shows how to configure it. Look at "Header 3", the checkbox question. It doesn't show checkboxes. It shows radio buttons. And that's what it does in my ne...

Re: [RC]Multiple ranks (not linked to usergroups) - 1.01

Thanks.

I see that it is actually covered just a few posts above my own on the previous page. I should have searched better before asking but 53 pages (at the time) seemed like a bit much.

Re: [RC]Multiple ranks (not linked to usergroups) - 1.01

How hard would it be to modify this mod to allow 5 ranks?

I am porting an old phpNuke site to phpbb3 and it used 5 ranks. It would be great to just import the ranks directly.

Re: PM inbox count out of sync

I am having this problem in v3.0.11. Is there an update to this solution that will work in the newer version?

Running this code as-is did nothing.

TIA!

Which comes first, the chicken or the egg? No, I mean this mod or the ban list? Just trying to have a little fun there. Let me try again... The mod emails me all the bogus attempts from my forums. Every once in a while, I go through and ban all domains that are listed in the spambot registration att...

Oh, okay. Most of my bogus users never activate, so I guess it's no problem after all. Thanks.

All should work, although banning .info domains could impact legitimate users. Instead... Yes, I know they should. My problem is that they don't. I really want to figure out how some-porn-site.info is getting around my banning of *@some-porn-site.info and *@*.info Instead... For the sake of this di...

Banned domains still registering

I've had a rash of spammer registrations from, for example: RaNdOmStUfF@some-porn-site.info I've tried banning: *@some-porn-site.info and *@*.info But it doesn't work. I still get registrations from that domain. The same is true with registrations from: *@mail.ru How can I properly ban these domains...

Is there was way to do this for only one specific user? No, there isn't, sorry. Do your other users regularly have a need to edit their posts after a while? Maybe you can just install the mod and see how it works for you. If you have problems with other users you can always disable (or uninstall) i...

I was hoping to install this mod... but what happens if I decide I want to allow editing later on??

Yes, it can. From the control panel:

"Set to zero to completely disable post editing. Set to -1 to disable the mod."
