Ah, alright.

Is there any previous versions of PHPBB which did not have it this way?

Or was phpBB always set-up like this for guest posting and I just never noticed? :?

Disable Guest Posting Requiring to input username

I'm trying to find the switch in the ACP to disable the need so when a guest visiting the site wants to post, that they need to input their own username. I want every post that is posted by a visitor who is not logged in to represent the username "visitor" or "anonymous" or something of that liking....

I have tested it with other computers and the same issue still arises. I'm guessing an "if" statement in the HTML is not working properly and is causing this. Where can I check to debug this issue? (Which tempelate files are causing this)

Looks like a very well made MOD.

In a nutshell, what benefits does this give to the Site Administrator or User?

From what I can see, it enables you to create custom pages with SEO-like custom URLs.
