phpBB does not take any donations per se; however if you buy some of their merchandise, money will go back to them.

(Of course, you could always slip a bit of money into psoTFX' bank account as a retirement present (but don't tell anyone I said that))

Apart from if there is a MOD already created for this, there is no way (unless you are very familiar with PHP and MySQL and are able to modify the Mediawiki code to be compatible) to do this.

chmods don't work on Windows servers.

If that's not the right reason, then what is?

"Vegitarianisam" (the topic title)

Is that the most blatant spelling mistake I've ever seen in my life, or what? :P

Hmm. I'd give donations if there was a lovely software package like phpBB... but for something like SaveToby... right. ;)

Why is that first sentence so small? Do you ever make constructive posts? Fine... but I actually did want to know... :( Hmm. I've just watched the movie "I, Robot" and you remind me so much of that robot "Sonny". You seem to have so many of his mannerisms. Firstly, you speak in short, sharp, senten...

The Sims, OS X? Well I never. *googles* Well, I'll have to eat my hat then. So it does. I'll give you that. ;) However, what about many proprietary plugins? Fine, most work, but when you buy that new cool gadget and it doesn't work it's quite annoying. Example: I recently bought a printer. The softw...

(Or internet explorer) Erm... yes it does. By default, IE comes with every Mac computer. :D Also... can I make this clear? You are not buying a server, right? In terms of "infection-proneness" an unpatched, out-of-the-box Mac connected directly to the internet vastly exceeds an equivalent Windows s...

Consider yourself warned heavily & banned for 3 days. Circumvent it and I'll ban you permanently. :) Thank god for emoticons. :D Lets face it, you would only get a Mac if you were either a student, web designer or graphics designer. Suprisingly close to the truth. However - you have failed complete...

the worst thing it will do is wipe out one user's settings and documents. Well, most of the time, it tends to be a one-user system, in which case it is relatively easy to reinstall the OS.... but the main problem is the user's files! :D No, it's based on FreeBSD, not linux. Ah... thanks. :-) I'll s...

Heh. I remember that there was a hardware fault once in a floppy drive - I traced it down to a faulty capacitor, replaced that, and all went fine.

Problem was, the original capacitor had a 15V voltage rating. Replacement was 6V. So ~12V through a 6V capacitor sufficed to melt the thing down :P

Nope, unless you want to change the version number in the phpBB config_table. Not really needed though since it doesn't display the number in the footer any more. This thread should be archived (kept for posterity). "Urm.... I got hacked. I don't upgrade because I think it is stupid. What's the prob...

This should technically speaking be posted in phpBB supprot.

Answer is: Yes, it is possible. Simply edit that specific bit of posting.php to actually have a redirect with time 0 to the forum.
