You did not pay attention when modifying code. Here is the problem area: // // Load templates // if(isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['printertopic'])) { $template->set_filenames(array( 'body' => 'printertopic_body.tpl') ); } else { $template->set_filenames(array( 'body' => 'viewtopic_body.tpl') ); } make_jumpbo...

my advice: don't waste your time. phpBB Olympus has it, so get a development snapshot here: http://area51.phpbb.com/cvs/ - it is not released, and requres some hand work to install, but that is more useful way to practice php and database administration... Or if you are busy like me - just wait till...

Of course it is possible. I've done something similar to that, namely, "nested categories", in phpBB 1.4.4 with some hand work: http://belovodie.h1.ru/index.php If I remember well, I added to table 'phpbb_categories' a column 'parent_id' which points to a parent category, and then modified slightly ...

I am already working on a wiki-mod for phpBB Did you published anything in the meantime? No, the idea was abandoned at an early stage of planning. The complexity of the task was agreed to be unreasonable. Coping with that while catching up with constantly changing interfaces of internal functions i...

is this mod even compatable with phpnuke version of phpbb? could that be a problem? I did not find a simple way to turn off all frames the phpNuke adds to the page output, so this mod is not compatible with phpNuke and clones... Please, don't get me wrong, I am not saying that it is impossible. It ...

Hello, everybody! I am very sorry, but I have been working on my own forum software for some time now. I have no time to maintain this mod. Just wait till Olympus comes out - it has printable view in it... Most clashes with other mods can be solved with generic approach: in viewtopic.php surround pr...

Uh ... could you please point which topic contains one of those solutions? Thanks, sorry for the trouble. I meant, it's in this very topic. I think somebody have reported similar problem on this page: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=141443&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=280 A beta versio...

That's possible. I have not heard of that mod yet. But there is a standard solution to almost all mod clashes, which is described numerously in this forum.

Happy modding!

My suggestion: whatever you do, work with phpbb 2.2 and not with php 2.0 which is going to become obsolete pretty soon.

To sssphpbb: I got it. Keep previous modifications unchanged. Open includes/functions.php inside function function generate_pagination($base_url, $num_items, $per_page, $start_item, $add_prevnext_text = TRUE) find global $lang; replace with global $finish, $lang; find $page_string = $lang['Goto_page...

Re: close....

Thanks Svyatozar, we're on the right track, but there's one glitch: Now it displays 'Goto post...' EVERYWHERE, including viewtopic, viewforum, memberlist, etc. I can see why it would do that on other pages - I can make the same viewtopic edits on those other pages - but it happens in viewtopic too....

Prior to any mods installed this mod works fine on a standard 2.0.11 install atleast for us it did. Now I am installing it on another forum and I have several mods installed and I'm getting the following error: Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/missmori/public_html/phpbb/view...
