Auto-cloning posts?

Hi, I am currently having trouble cloning posts. What I want to do is have the system clone the first post of every thread place an ad in the post body. I don't want it to appear as if the OP posted the ad either. I just want the system to plug a predetermined name in for the author and it would be ...

Re: Adding Google AdSense after first post

I would also appreciate some help with this. Could you let me know how you solved your issue? I know exactly what you were wanting to accomplish and I am having the same problems getting it to work.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Width of forum?

Alright, I found the file and it already has wrap in there. Maybe you can help me do what I am intending. I want the center column to be a set width but to center for everyone depending on the resolution they use.

Re: Width of forum?

So if I change it to "wrap," it wil make the banner decide the width of the forum?

What file is the width located in?

Re: Width of forum?

That doesn't seem to be the problem because even without the banner, the column is too wide.

Width of forum?

Does anyone know how to go about changing the width of my style? If you look at my forum, you will see that there is a "main column" in the middle of the page. How do I make that more narrow on all pages? The only problem with this style is that users on lower resolutions have to scroll si...

Link at top of forum?

Hey guys, I was wondering what file I would edit to put a link in at the top of my forum directly next to the "View your posts" link. I want it to have the bulletin point in between them as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Code Cell?

For those that may want to use it, I made the cell. It's for Staff Edits and it looks a lot like the code cell. BBcode Usage: [SE]{TEXT}[/SE] HTML Replacement: <dl class="codebox"><dt>Staff Edit:<dd><!-- END code_open -->{TEXT}<!-- BEGIN code_close --></dd></dl>

JimA wrote:It's a default BBCode in phpBB3, and all the HTML replacements of those are in the bbcode.html file in the styles/yourstyle/template directory. :)
Thank you much, kind sir.

Re: Code Cell?

No, I would like the HTML code. I can make the bbcode substitution myself. I just need the HTML code for the "Code" cell in my first post.

Code Cell?

Code: Select all

Can anyone give me the code for the "Code" cell that is default with php? I want to edit it a bit but don't know the original code in it's entirety.
I was to add it as a custom BB code. Thanks in advance.
