Re: [DEV] Multi-Forum 0.3.2

Since the author hasn't posted since July '09, I think it's safe to say he has forgotten about it. But in case he returns, I have a question: does this allow you to share one userbase across different installations as well as one set of files, or does it just share the files and make a new database...

Re: Remove Header (and some more stuff)

Hey again, i replaced this code (like 2 months later) with a simple div tag with an image in it centered, and it didn't show up? It showed the default all over again, even though the code clearly doesnt exist to show it?

Re: Remove Header (and some more stuff)

Hi Elena

You would normally put your images in the imageset yes as that is were a styles own images are normally placed. However if your only using one style, you could put them anywhere as long as you link to them properly.

Re: Off-site login box?

Is is possible, iv'e seen it in many places, I don't however, know how to do it, I imagine you copy the code from the phpBB's files for the login part, then apply your own CSS/Style to it to fit in with your site. I'm not sure though.

Re: Multiple Installtions Read from one location

I can write you up a simple script to check the domain name and load the appropriate db info. They wouldn't be able to upload their own files except through the phpBB 3 upload feature which should be good enough for them. You have your hosting setup and everything? I can hook you up with anything e...

Re: Multiple Installtions Read from one location

Ill be using sub domain to point each forum to its directory, i'd happily give them ftp access and let them do it themselves if it wasn't such a security issue. Also means they could host any file. I think i will have to gather a load of mods and styles and put them together as a package and use it ...

Re: Multiple Installtions Read from one location
