Re: Limit users posts number on first page

Thanks for your suggestions. :) Still, nothing is what I really need/want. Anti-Double post mod seems interesting, but problem is more with many replies to different topics rather than several replies to a single post. Having moderators send offenders adds to the stress of the moderators of users fe...

Limit users posts number on first page

Hello, I cant find a plugin for this, but I imagine there should have been need for something like this by other forums... See if you can help me find a solution: I have a poetry forum where users post their poems. We often have a problem when a user makes replies to all his posts, and therefore all...

Re: Show text in form when submitting new post

Thanks, for some reason, that is not displaying anything as far as I can see. I discovered this works quite well: <!-- IF S_NEW_MESSAGE --> your code <!-- ENDIF --> But it's showing at new private posts as well, and it's only intended for forum posts. I guess I could live with it, but if there is a ...

Show text in form when submitting new post

Hello, I want to add a custom text for viewing when a user is starting a new post (not for replies). It would be ok to show it inside posting_editor area, I just don't know how to filter it for only showing on new posts, but I guess it is possible. I guess it wold be something similar to this, but c...

Re: Send to friend / Recommend it

...and suddenly one day we see something at our phpbb3 forums we hadn't noticed before...
It's a send to friend icon!

Up next to print icon. ;)

No need for mods. :D

Change logo/header on each forum board (same style)

I have a Style at my site I want to use on all boards. But I'd like to have different headers (mainly the logo) for each board. I thought there'd be an easy way to accomplish this without creating tons of duplicate styles with only the header logo difference, but I cant find how. It seems it should ...

Send to friend / Recommend it

Hello,
I'm surprised I cant find this mod, or any post requesting it...

I'd like users to be able to "Send this post to a friend".

isn't that a good easy way for users themselves to promote the forum? ;)

ACTIVE TOPICS: Display the forum name where they are from

Hello, I guess this could easily be done editing the styles, though I dont know how to do it. In the view of Active topics, in viewforum.php we have a list of active topics... good. ;) I'd like the list to include the name of the sub-forums the topics are from. For example with this own forum, inste...

PM on Topic Move

I'd like for phpbb to PM users when a topic is moved to another forum so they know where to find it when they see it's gone.

This makes sense especially for large boards...

Thanks

Viewing hidden users

I cant find the option, or user/group the permission setting to not allow moderators to view hidden users.
Basically, I don't want them to see hidden admins, but I guess its all or none.

Where is the setting for allowing them to view hidden users?

Thanks,

Re: [BETA] Prime Trash Bin (0.2.7) - Delete Threads To a Forum

Installed with absolutely no problem on RC8. Instructions were still just fine. Its working well, with no problems as far as I can tell. ;) One thing I cant yet figure out... I'd like to make sure moderators send posts to the trash bin before permanently deleting... Is there a way to enforce them se...

RC7 to RC8: Cannot modify header information...

Hello, I had RC7 installed, and I just upgraded to RC8. I used the "changed files" upload way for updating. No mods have been installed. database_update.php does not report any errors, and says everything was successfully updated. But I am getting tons of errors such as: . 'includes/hooks/' . $hook ...

Re: [BETA] Prime Trash Bin (0.2.7) - Delete Threads To a Forum

Looks great, I'm trying to decide if installing RC7 to use this, or install RC8 and wait for it to be available for the new phpbb3 RC8 version... ;)
