SOLVED:
Simply needed to resynchronize the affected topics. Resync isn't particularly well-documented, as far as I can tell!

Can I make viewforum.php the front page?

Hi there, I have a board ( here )with only one public forum (no subforums). When visitors come to the site, they need to click "General" to get into the main topic listing. I think it would be much friendlier if my site's default front page was the viewforum.php?f=2 page. Fewer clicks = better. Is t...

Re: Thread Rating System

This is definitely something that I would be interested in. It would be great if users could express their dissatisfaction towards a thread, so my mods could flag it for deletion. Maintaining standards is a necessity, but my board gets between 1500-2000 posts a day and it's really hard to keep up so...

Re: [DEV] Restrict daily posts

Yes, I need this mod as a halfway-point between regular users and banned ones; being able to restrict the rate at which they post crap is better than banning and having them come back with a new account to wreak havoc

Love to see this mod get finished.

Can't wait for this one to be released, I need to control the use of YouTube in signatures!

Re: Implementing hash tags

No, the text is only being stored as written by the user and submitted through posting.php. Then I just run preg_replace on the post text fetched from the database, so I can't see any holes. It happens at the same stage as word filtering and smilies happen.

Re: Implementing hash tags

If you wanted a really good hash use Blowfish or Rijndael (AES) I'm going to assume this is a joke since I'm not talking about encryption. Ya, that should work without any issues. Safety isn't really an issue because they could enter the same link themselves with the url tag and the search.php file...

Implementing hash tags

Those of you who use Twitter will be familiar with hash tags, which are used to tag a message as belonging to a certain thematic group. The hash tag is just a word or phrase with an appended hash character (eg #superbowl, #ihatemondays etc). Hash tagging allows users to find posts from people concer...

I think I'm in over my head. I'm not really sure how to create mods, which I think is what's going to be needed here :?

Re: How to auto-prune all topics hourly?

you should be able to adapt it to fit your needs. OK. I don't know what that means. I don't mean to sound rude, but all you've given me is a piece of code that looks like it just deletes fields from a table of your own making. You can't just "DELETE FROM `phpbb_posts` where `forum_id` = 2", or "DEL...

You'll have to forgive my ignorance. Where do I need to put this, and how do I make it run? It doesn't look like it goes in a standalone PHP file because of the PASTEBIN_TABLE reference.

How to auto-prune all topics hourly?

I want to create a subforum which gets completely blanked of all topics and posts on an hourly basis. It occurred to me that a simple "drop rows from phpbb_posts where forum_id = x" might not be the wisest way to do it. Autopruning is limited to a minimum of daily prunes, and only on inactive topics...

JavaScript security question re: RSS BBCode

Hi all, I wanted a way to let forum users promote their blog in their signature, but I'm worried about JavaScript injection vulnerabilities. To add RSS support, I figured I could make a custom BBCode and insert the tokens into Google's <A href="http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxfeeds/">Ajax Feed API</...
