Re: A little Javascript help

That's just like asking for someone else to do your homework for you in high school without you even attempting to do it yourself. Your requests are receives a lot better when you give some indication that you have actually tried to solve the problem yourself, rather than relying solely on someone e...

Re: A little Javascript help

No reason to get an attitude here. A simple search on google for 'javascript function tutorial' yields thousands of results, the first of which is http://www.functionx.com/javascript/Lesson05.htm That page goes into excruciating detail regarding javascript functions and argument passing. It's fairly...

Re: A little Javascript help

Have you googled at all?

Code: Select all

    <script type="text/javascript">
    function show(var value, var value2, var value3)
    {
    alert(value+value2+value3);
    }
    </script>
<input type="radio" name="btn" onClick="show({TEMPLATE_VAR}, {TEMPLATE_VAR2}, {TEMPLATE_VAR3});"

Users cannot register

This problem has arisen after several host moves....We hadn't gotten any new registrations in about a week, so I went to try the registration process, and lo and behold, I've got a database issue somewhere.... Please help me get this back up and running asap. Here is the error that appears when a us...

I actually found out what the problem was. My stylesheet was missing quite a few of the subsilver properties. I added them and changed to my color, and viola! it all looks good :-)

OK, I've got this installed, but on viewtopic, the google talk button is not visible. I have made the changes in the viewtopic template, viewtopic.php, and the cfg file, yet the button isn't showing up when google talk is set in the profile. Can anyone help me out?

TD tags with no class are ugly color..change that color???

OK, I'm doing work on http://gmailtime.com/forum Of course, this is not the subsilver template, in fact, it is far from it, so I was expecting some problems with it. It appears that with new modifications, that have their own templates, when I upload those templates, everything turns out very nicely...

PHP Code???

OK, I know that there is a mod that lets you add PHP code to your templates, but I don't want to do that. I'd like to be able to add my PHP code to index.php (the code will only be used on the index page) and then use a {} tag in the template to execute the code. Is there a tutorial or something, or...

Echoing Email address on page?

OK, I've got a newsletter subscribe form on my main index page of the forum. Question is: Can I add any {} tags so that it displays the user's email address inside the box? I already have it so that only registered members can see it, but I'd like to take it a step further.

Thanks,
Kevin

I gave up on this one. I installed Pcpin chat (http://pcpin.com) & it is FULLY integrated into phpBB. It's a very nice little chat, and it's under constant development. I really like it, and will stick with it.

Anyone have the download of this mod anywhere? If not, then are there any replacements? I've tried feeta chat, but it doesn't work in all browsers, so that was a turn-off.

Anyone?

Thanks,
Kevin
