Re: Dice Roller

We set up a Dice Roll Tester Page here: https://rhea.phpbbstudio.com/dice In order to test notations with the brand new engine. :) Nice, could you send me the code for testings? I'd translate it to german as well of course. If this is better than "my" we may replace it - 1 working roller should be ...

Re: Dice Roller

Make sure to enable the dice game PER FORUM! Without enabling it on a forumbase, you won't be able to use them
ACP -> Forums -> Manage Forums -> Choose the specific Forum -> Klick the green gearwheel to edit the concerned forum -> Scroll to the bottom of the options page, than enable the dice.

Re: Custom Profiles within Main Profile for Roleplay Characters?

This would be a really cool and useful extension. Your picture is great :)

Would be cool if anyone could create an ext for this.

Re: Dice Roller

Not really, I'm not a dev, and as it's written at the DL source, there's no support for this ext, that's why it isn't in the 'exts in development' subforum. We just needed that mod for our forum, and I paid a developer, to merge the old ext to 3.2 What I remember is, that at the beginning there was ...

Re: GDPR Official Extension

I'm sorry for double post, but there's no way to edit first post. I forgot to mention, that there is one more way how to handle this. Assign Official status if it's possible to [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy extension. This extension is better suited for the purposes we have - and it's in active developm...

Re: New GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and phpBB

Btw in the UK the upcoming Data Protection Bill is nearly the same as the GDPR. Just with some minor changes.

Re: phpBB CPU Problem (Can't solved about 3 years)

There's almost no chance that people will find what causes the CPU spikes for you. Maybe. But users can help him, find the problem if he knows what to look for. Did you really disable all extensions? If so then no, there's nothing you can do except move to a more powerful server. First of all I'd w...

Re: phpBB CPU Problem (Can't solved about 3 years)

I don't know that hosting service you linked. I checked their offerings, and the smallest package starts with 1GB RAM.

Most providers providing tools at the backend, just look for something like Error Logs, Access Logs etc

Re: phpBB CPU Problem (Can't solved about 3 years)

Do you have serverlogs, which may help to find out what exactly happens at those huge peaks? And what are the serverspecs?

Re: New GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and phpBB

I referred to the status of the usernames that remain visible after the account is deleted (If no Exts are used) In addition, the ip address is still available for posts of those deleted users. There is no law that requires me to deliver data to law enforcement agencies that I do not store or even c...

Re: New GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and phpBB

From my understanding the "nickname" and "personal data" thing only is a problem, if there are real personal data linked. IPs are personal data, that makes a nickname to a personal data, cause ip <-> nickname are linked in the database. We avoid this problem by making the IP addresses anonymous (All...
