Re: Sorry but you may only delete posts which have not been replied to.

Sorry but you may only delete posts which have not been replied to.

trying to delete a post I made. I'm admin, global mod and also in the Registered users. I host the forum also on my own pc. I've checked my perms and I'm yes to all. From using search it may be that I'm in the Registered users group which may not have perm to do this? Is there a way to just give me r...

Re: account creation notification emails not being sent

May be config as in the link they found it was the problem.
1 forum is much older than the other and has various mod/edits and has been updated several times.
Newer forum only updated once.

I did compare but didn't really know what to look for?

account creation notification emails not being sent

I have 2 forums using same godaddy email settings. 1 sends email the other doesn't. non sender is main email address, sending one is secondary email address. Installed a new fresh forum using same details as non sending one and this one sends email. Something is corrupt somewhere and it may be phpbb_...

Re: New User Email Sends - Admin Email Doesn't...

Registered a new account using a false email. I can get a failed delivery message but not a new user created account message. Registering wi...

3.1.6 - 3.1.7-pl1 not recognised/installing?- SOLVED

Put the update files in the folder, navigate to ....forum/install
I get a not found page.

I get 3 folders for the update package, docs, install and vendor.
Is the update package missing some files?

Forum stays online when I copy the new files,it doesn't go offline.

Force reactivation for all

Very tedious doing it one by one so a 'select all' button is needed.
And/or a group reactivation.

Re-activation emails for all or a group

It's possible to send re-activation emails but only one at a time.

Possible to have a select all option for entire members and/or by a group.

Re: Force reactivation for ALL users

Yeah but that doesn't really solve my problem. I need to know they are there, that they get the mass email and read it. Not overly fussed if they are active or not as they can act upon the mass email. It's the ones that used a bum email address and don't bother with the emails any more. I'm guessing ...

Get rid of the deadwood.
I don't want to waste bandwidth, time and effort etc sending mass email to dead emails/members.
