Re: ACP Add User MOD

Thank you. In addition to the mod and the install (I learned a new way!), I also added the 'assign password' change by rklesla - thank you sir. (btw, there is a typo in the second add - there is a trailing 'dl', that isn't visible unless you scroll.) I had to research a bit to get rid of the default...

Re: View or mark unread posts

I have had several of my members ask about this feature, so I plan to install your mod. However, I don't have a need for the 'mark unread', and we use a modified / custom style, so I'll have to make the visual edits myself. Do you have a collection of just the 'unread posts' changes so I can focus ...

Re: United States Gunlaw(s)

Israel had a similar problem with terrorists attacking the schools. They armed the teachers. The bad people went away. From my perspective the people who go into a public place and mass-murder others choose that place because it has a low likelyhood of someone else being able to stop them. If the go...

Re: United States Gunlaw(s)

This is a pretty good discussion. I've been in a lot of firearms discussions and there have been some pretty good point-counter points. If you would like to read an excellent article about why the gun allows civilization to be civilized, I recommend this post by Munchkin Wrangler . Here is the openi...

Searching Bug Tracker on phpBB.com

I do not know where to post this as there does not appear to be a section for comments regarding the Bug Tracker. Please move as appropriate. Does anyone know if there is a way to search the Bug Tracker Database? Using the search field in the header (next to "Hosting") does not search only the BTD. ...

I had a similar search failure. I couldn't find: } $template->pparse('body'); include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/page_tail.'.$phpEx); ?> But I inserted it above the code that performed the 'include'. Specifically, I search for: if ( $mode == 'register' && !isset($HTTP_POST_VARS['agreed']) && !isse...

Thanks.

My friend looked at it and determined that he only needed to comment out the "extensions=" lines in php.ini and restart the daemon.

Yippee!

I get the same error. I just upgraded the sytem from Red Hat to Fedora. During the upgrade I got a message that the database could not be migrated, so I renamed the folder and started all over. I've created the postgreSQL database and checked the php.ini file, the value is set to -1. Any ideas? thanks

Thanks. That lead me in the right direction. Our "Rank Images" have working since I became an admin, and I never bothered to look into it. They just displayed the words of the rank under the rank. It appears that when our forum was setup, the Admin used the full path to the image (which the manual s...

"Click Here Now!" in Avatar Area

Just this morning, we started getting a yellow box with this message in it. It appears just under the player's "rank" and above their avatar (if they have one). I have no idea what caused it to appear, and we made no configuration changes recently. We did have some player's change their names on Sun...
