Re: Flash Problems

It looks like it may be attempting to load the entire movie (300MB) before displaying the screen, which will undoubtedly take a very long time. Is that how it is suppose to behave? Would it be easier if I had the video in wmv format. It would be substantially smaller. How would I enable playing wmv ...

I have flash enabled on my board. However, when I enclose the .swf link to a flash movie within the flash bbcode, I get nothing.

Re: iPhone App for phpBB Forums

do not upload all those files to your ftp you WILL screw your forum. . That is exactly what I am talking about with Tapatalk and Forum Runner. Give TouchBB a try. Upload one file (touchbb.php) to your root directory. No html files to edit. TouchBB Lite is a free app. No reason to makes things more ...

Re: iPhone App for phpBB Forums

Perhaps I am not the most sophisticated forum operator. Given the choice between uploading one file, and uploading lots of files in lots of directories, the choice was obvious to me. Everyone has their own comfort level. I notice you are a member of the Support Team, so it may come as second nature ...

I did not want to have to deal with all of these files for Tapatalk:

With TouchBB, you just put the file TouchBB.php in your root directory and you are done.

iPhone App for phpBB Forums

I looked for a long time for a way for me and my members to follow my forum on the iPhone. I found out that a competing forum, AVS (avsforum.com), was using a custom version of Forum Runner so I looked into the generic version, but to use it I would have had to modify a bunch of php and html files, ...

Re: Date of Last Post Not Visible to Guests

For guests, the Last Post column shows No Posts in ProSilver as well. BlueHost does use Simple Scripts. I have been running my board for nearly a year and just noticed this behavior.

Date of Last Post Not Visible to Guests

When guest view the main index, the column titled Last Post reads "No Posts". It makes the forum appear inactive. Is there a way I can allow guests to see the date of the last posts just like logged in members?

HTML Code in Rank Titles?

I have a long rank title and I would like it to wrap to the next line in a certain place so I would need to insert either a hard return or a hard space. I tried inserting <br /> and &nbsp; with no luck. Any ideas?

I have a half a dozen mods. I don't recall modifying any of the acp templates but I'll do some detective work.
