Re: Possible to delete multiple users at once?

"look at the prune section again...there is a find a member list which will allow you to select multiple users and then prune them away"

I can't find this. Can you explain where it is, please?

Thanks
Graham.

Re: Multiple Selection Custom Profile Fields

I'd just like to add my plea for this feature. I run an employment related board and there are a number of ways in which having a list of interests that people can check off would be helpful instead of a long set of individual Boolean questions.
Cheers, Graham.

Re: Notify administrator when there is ANY activity

Thanks Steve

I had been expecting a global notification option not to have to go through all the forums individually.

Best wishes
Graham.

Notify administrator when there is ANY activity

I've been hunting both the documentation and the MODs list, but can't find the answer - so apologies if it's obvious... As the admin/moderator of three forums, I want to be sent an email when anyone does anything on a forum - whether it's posting a new message or replying. I'm baffled that this isn'...

Re: Forum logos don't display in Firefox but fine in IE

This relates to ACP > Forums > (edit a forum) > Forum image path . Are all your forum images (flags) in the root directory of your site? You're a genius. Yes, for some reason in IE it could resolve the path, but moving them to the root directory means they display in FF too! I checked the paths too...

Re: Forum logos don't display in Firefox but fine in IE

Hi. Thanks for your message. Yes, all the options in FF are OK. The site is : http://www.informa-in-touch.org and there's a dummy account 'visitor' with the same password. Scroll down to the Library section and you'll see that it and the sections below it have "no new posts" instead of a graphic. Th...

Forum logos don't display in Firefox but fine in IE

I've just discovered that the forum logos which have worked fine in IE (all versions) are not displaying at all in Firefox.

Can anyone throw any light on this PLEASE?

I'm using ProSilver.

Many thanks
Graham.

Yes, I've got this problem too. Forum images have simply stopped displaying alongside the forum titles.

Any advice much appreciated.
Graham.

Re: Member list not updating?

Yes, it says it was successful. Really? Hmmm...that is certainly interesting. I just registered on your board so I could view the member list, there are only 18 not counting myself, you and the admin account. Can you give me some usernames that you have deleted but still show up? :) Well now... thi...

Re: Member list not updating?

What am I doing wrong in the deletion process? On the surface nothing, according to the process you listed. When you press submit do you get a message in the ACP telling you whether it was successful? Can you also link to your board? :) **edit** Does your selection match the screen cap below when y...

Re: Member list not updating?

Do they and their posts actually get removed from the forums or do they still appear along with being listed in the memberlist? Have you gone into the ACP -> Admin index and run 'resynchronize statistics' ? Purged the cache at all? Ah.... no their posts aren't being removed, I've been doig so mysel...

Re: Member list not updating?

Can you please give us a step by step guide of how exactly you deleted these users from the board? ACP > Manage Users > Administrate User > Basic Tools > Delete User (then tick the box, select to delete posts, and submit). I don't want to ban them, as they may later wish to use the same username wh...

Member list not updating?

Hello. I've had a few users to delete from the membership, I've done this by using the Manage Users function and everything appeared to have worked fine, but they are still appearing in the Member List. Is there a way of keeping this up to date?

Thanks
Graham.

Re: txt email messages getting corrupted

Thanks Steve and Ric I ended up using Notepad ++, and the file continued to mangle the same lines, however, I removed the lines completely and retyped them in and this cured all but one of the problems. Something must have been embedded in there but I couldn't see any reason. The remaining problem s...

Re: [How To] Modify prosilver's header

I'm having a silly problem with the top of my forum since incorporating a banner image. I wonder if anyone can help me? The site is here: http://www.informa-in-touch.org . You'll notice that the "buttons menu" and the block with the link to 'board index' and so on, are just slightly narrower than t...
