Re: Problems with emails

Thanks for the help, the problem seems to be fixed. I was using an old "mydomain" on the email addresses, pretty similar to the new one. The old one was deactivated by my host recently and I didn't notice the difference in the email textboxes.

Problems with emails

Hello, I have a 3.2.0 installation of phpBB. Right now newly registered users are not receiving confirmation emails and I am clueless as why this is happening. This wasn't happening before. I don't think notification emails are being sent either. I have the following settings in my ACP: General sett...

Re: Session problem in Chrome app for Android

Thanks for the reply. I considered filling that form but I honesty think it's not an installation problem in my board. This are the symptoms that I could observe: - in my board I can login and post, but can't logout (error "the request didn't match your session"); - in another board (not phpBB) I ca...

Session problem in Chrome app for Android

I don't think this is phpbb specific but maybe I can get some help here. I have a phpbb forum and for a few weeks now I can't logout of the forum if I'm using Chrome on Android (version 8). I can login, post successfully, but whenever I try to logout I get this error message: "you were not logged ou...

Re: [3.2][RC] Simple mentions

First post has been updated with the download for the first release candidate. Please keep in mind that this is still a Extension in development and should not be used on a live board. Hi Paul, just a couple of questions: - I have the idea that I saw previously that this extension required PHP7, bu...

A few questions regarding 3.2

Hi, After struggling with the update I was finally able to successfully update my forum to 3.2 and have it up and running in production. I have a few things that I would like to change, if that's possible: how do I change the profiles in the posts to the left? I had the idea that this was simple bef...

Re: I'm ready to give up on 3.2 - timeout detected

If you are on a shared hosting plan, be careful with what phpinfo reports. See Custom php.ini Settings VS Shared Hosting Plans for more information. After reading that post I went and talked to the guys at my host. At first they said that my changed values were correct and in effect. But after a se...

Re: I'm ready to give up on 3.2 - timeout detected

I had that timeout problem, very similar frustration to you then I saw a LUMPY METHOD  seriously! I went with the Lumpy method and to coin a phrase "IT WORKED FOR ME!" lost all the custom stuff on my forum but actually looking back, it gave me an opportunity to drop the stuff I had like baggag...

Re: I'm ready to give up on 3.2 - timeout detected

Try first upgrading to 3.1.10 and then to 3.2. I suggest this because the database changes will be fewer in each of the two upgrades than in going two steps at once. Thanks for the suggestion, but that's not something that I really want to do. I already have a running version of 3.2 ready which is ...
