Re: Check if a user is logged in

It is for my site and I was told by someone they thought you could only host it on the same main or subdomain to do this but I heard it was possible to have a forum's login onto multiple domains given that they are on the same server.

Use forum login system over multiple websites?

My old website was coded so that the site's user system was linked with the forum, in other words one account for everything. I didn't code or design the website. I'm wanting to do a similar thing but instead of having it across one site I want it across multiple sites so that for example when someo...

Re: [RC] Share On Facebook, Twitter ... 1.0.2

I can't get the mod to work. I used MODX and got the warning that it can't find language/es/common.php I've done everything else, added the modules, refreshed but it isn't showing. I tried the previous mod, the last mod released by the original developer and it worked but the images didn't show prop...

Custom Activation Reminder Messages?

I was wondering if its possible to send a custom activation reminder message. Our forum had a problem due to being on a shared hosting package - a customer spamed and the blacklist effect others including our website. It took us a while to realise about the blacklist so some members signed up a whil...

Removing website from MSN Blacklist?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this so sorry if its wrong, it isn't actually a PHPBB3 issue, more of a general issue. I'm using a shared hosting account with my host and another customer has spammed. We tried to set up an SPF record incase this would fix this, updated the current one, b...

The config.php file could not be found.

on my homepage. Rest of the site seems fine.

Is this possible - A schedule based on users timezones?

I run an online radio station and one of the biggest problems is that a lot of listeners from accross the globe get confused with times, as they are all set at Standard GMT times, as we are based in the UK. I was wondering if there would be a way to intergrate a schedule so that it could look at the...

Re: Updating from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7

Re: Updating from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7

I've noticed when finding the changed files and so on - when clicking the proceed to download button - firefox crashes but its fine with internet explorer. Is this a general bug?

Re: Updating from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7

Hi I've put the old forum back up temporary but put it offline. Here you can see http://riseagainstmedia.com/forums/ - it uses the basic usual style but has a nav bar on the top and bottom. The login page is linked to each of the sites pages and right now with the forum being down, each other page i...

Re: Updating from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7

I didn't set the forum up. However I was told when I tried to update it by my webdesigner to always use the old styles - http://www.riseagainstmedia.com/forums - the forum is intergrated with the site so none of the site itself is working at the moment. But the forum has the same navigation and ever...

Re: Updating from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7

Is it safe once the fresh instal with new styles is up, to then simply overwrite the new styles with our old current ones?

Re: Updating from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7

Hi what i'm saying is would a fresh instal remove the current Styles.

I was told not to touch them as the custom layout and such wouldn't work correctly.
