Re: Message adblockes dominantly on FB

The messages that are passed to FB are the warning to turn off the adblocker. Not a shortened piece of the message itself What can I do about it? https://s26.postimg.org/kldyj3whl/Schermafdruk_2017-09-03_07.20.25.png We can't control what Facebook decides to extract from a page, and frankly it's hi...

Re: [BETA] Official Extension: Advertisement Management

Could it be corrected in the next release ? Thomas, thanks for your report! We are aware of the issue. We use flexbox to center the ad, but because of that, container has no width and needs to be set by the ad. We will try to do our best to improve the centering CSS code, but every solution has a d...

Re: [BETA] Official Extension: Advertisement Management

Everyone, it's good to know your ad is not rogue, right? We have just implemented so-called " Ad code analyser " which checks for basic errors your code can have, such as redirect user to another page, popping alerts, generating "Mixed content" browser errors, etc. If you have any other checks in mi...

Not fashionable to uninstall, gives eros. https://imgur.com/sefrO79
That's probably because installation went wrong with already existing module. Now, you probably need to manually delete the modules from your board. Please, head to general support if you are not sure how to do it.

Oh, those 2 extensions are not compatible. You need to disable (and delete data) of the old one to be able to enable new one.

Re: [BETA] Official Extension: Advertisement Management

EDIT: The XSS_ERROR is only related to the latest Chrome-build. I used Opera and FireFox and could preview the ads perfectly without any errors occuring. After I had a little deeper look into what's wrong with ads not showing up, I figured out that - because I am using responsive Ads - there was a ...

Re: [BETA] Official Extension: Advertisement Management

Is it possible (for now) to use Template-Code like <!-- IF not S_USER_LOGGED_IN --> in the ad-code textfield/box? So the extension itself does not need to check what group the user is? Not yet, but it's interesting idea. This way, admin can have really full control over the ads. EDIT: After testing...

Re: [BETA] Official Extension: Advertisement Management

Is it possible to hide specific advertisements for specific group? For example: Show more ads, if the users is not logged in? Or show some more adds to users that did not write more than X posts? Way2Vet, thanks for your proposition! For now, we don't consider this, since we want to provide the ext...

Re: [BETA] Official Extension: Advertisement Management

Guys,
a new feature called "Ad owner" has been just added. Now, you can assign any registered user as ad owner and he can see ad statistics (such as views and clicks) in his UCP.

Hi everyone,
there has been a great progress made in recent days, adding new Views and Clicks feature. From now, you can track number of views and clicks for every ad. 8-)

I use https://github.com/bb3mobi/ads

Is not the same1 is it?

If it isn't, can you tell me the dif?
It is similar, but written from scratch. The difference is, that bb3mobi's ads are abandoned, while this is official extension, thus support guaranteed.
