Re: User hide topic?

Ok, sorry. I would like forum members to hide any topic of their choice. This is fairly common in forums; I'm surprised I couldn't find it for PHPBB. Say you can't stand my thread here, and want to make sure you don't see it in future when you visit this board ... I want a clickable option so you ca...

User hide topic?

I'm dismayed I can't find this! Does anybody know how to add an option for users to hide a topic (they might find it offensive or something)?
Thanks.

Yet another Blog - new blog post from forum post

I think what I'm looking for is less fully-featured than the Blog mods already underway. Please can you advise? I only need one blog for the site, it's a news update site for a single project. I'm hoping to: [1] Have the option, when posting, to create a new blog entry (or page) with the posts' cont...

Make first post sticky

I'd like the first post of EVERY new thread to be sticky. Has anybody done this - or could tell me how to do it?
Cheers :)

Re: Refresh security question

Thank you ... but I'm not seeing an option to refresh the questions. There is one for the visual CAPTCHA (which is enabled, just in case) but none for the questions :?

Refresh security question

I'm delighted that phpBB3 now includes the security question option - spam registrations have gone from 5 a day (inactive board) with Captcha to NONE 8-) Some of my questions might be a bit esoteric, for some users. Can you point me to instructions on how to offer a question refresh (ie, "Try a diff...

Re: [DEV] phpBB3 Akismet integration

It seems I can't upload attachments, so here are the corrections for the instructions file (thanks to akuretz). Use a plain text editor, not Word. In phpBB3-Akismet.0.0.2.xml : Line 2 - find <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="1.2.1/modx.prosilver.en.xsl"?> Replace with <?xml-stylesheet type="tex...
