If anyone is interested in fixing it for 2.0.4, or has fixed it for 2.0.4, feel free to post it here or send me the zip so I can host it. Due to work commitments I have absolutely zero time for fixing the mod at the moment. I might be able to get around to it sometime near the end of next week, but ...
I personally believe the message board will, over time, converge with instant messaging services to make it more of a real-time groupware system. For example, I could make a post which includes a window displaying the contents of my webcam, and another person could post the same, then another, and i...
If your ICQ client is properly configured and running, I think this file should automatically open a window and let you message them directly. Probably won't work if you're using gaim or Netscape.
Im Using Lycos.co.uk. Give me some free sites where i can make my forums at I'm afraid the old cliché "you get what you pay for" applies. None of the free hosts are particularly fast. If you want speed, which will benefit both you and your users and make your forums far more attractive fo...
Why is my database so big? Verteron's second board has two thirds as many posts as mine, but its database is less than one third as big. Generally longer posts? The second board I mention tends to get a fair amount of spam, URL adverts etc. Aharon 's board has over 300k posts, but his database is 2...

Ok...so doing an upgrade is the way to go...I checked the download page and there doesn't seem to be any upgrades between 2.0.0 and the new 2.0.3 Correct??wld You must upgrade from 2.0 to 2.01 to 2.02 to 2.03 in order currently. No, the upgrade script will take you direct from 2.0.0 to 2.0.3...
Don't think it would be too hard. Just enter the remote server in the install wizard for each front end board, make sure you have the same set of templates and files uploaded, and you should be fine. Only problem might be transfering cookies between the servers, but if they're www.abc.com, www1.abc....
are these tpl files stored on the site? They are stored to wherever you upload your board, under the templates/ directory. You can install however many you want and allow your users to choose between them, or lock the board into a certain style. Most styles can be customised colour-wise from the ad...
