Re: [RC] Add Page MOD

I installed this mod using auto mod, it was successful...but where is it? lol

There is no option under any tab to add a static page, nor is there a tab named "static page".

Any help?

P.S. Purged forum and browser cache.

Re: Your feedback on the MOD Database and Validation process

Hello trittersz, this is the MOD database: http://www.phpbb.com/mods/db/ This is not the MOD database: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewforum.php?f=70 But I think you are telling one problem that can result misunderstandings: The forum description A place for MOD Authors to post and receive feedb...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.0.5 released

Wow, well that's it for me. The complexity of updating mods and new installs are far beyond what any end user of an application should expect. Whether it free or not. Simplicity is no where to be found here, whether it be upgrading the forum itself, or installing a mod. You can see my post about the...

Re: Your feedback on the MOD Database and Validation process

I dislike the mod database. It seems a lot of the mods here are still under development, still working out bugs, and shouldn't be applied to live sites. If you search any number of threads you even see the mod authors saying there needs to be more work, or we missed this, or I'll release the fix in ...

Re: Easy Package Install

Pardon me, says the blind man. To think, I searched for about 20 minutes for a mod that is stickied at the top of the forum.

Thanks Kevin

Easy Package Install

I'm sure this must have been discussed before, but for the life of me I can't find a post that specifically addresses the issue. I don't know if this would be a mod, so much as part of the PHPBB application itself. Other applications offer a simple upload of the entire mod and all the processing, ch...

You're welcome, and thank you for such a wonderful mod! I'm sure the more experienced users already knew what to do there. My lack of experience made me question it.

Then this is a mistake in the install instructions and should be:

Code: Select all

Copy: /root/adm/style/acp_wp_united.html
To: /adm/style/acp_wp_united.html
correct?

That mod file contains a .html file not a .php file. Do I just change the extension?
