I'd say it might be a problem with the database, as none of the core code had really been changed. Did you run install/update_to_latest.php after you upgraded?

It looks like the forum has had some SEO work done, it's probably there on purpose, because phpBB doesnt put that in the source by defualt...

You may want to try upgrading to the lastest version. That may fix it. Otherwise, what are the users editing that wont save?..Signatures, Contact info?

You can use the Mod Form of the updates, which just allow you to make the appropriate code changes without having to reinstall anything. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the update mod for the latest version.

The posters them selves can choose whether there signature shows or not. You can look at their signatures via the admin panel>User Management, but you can force signatures to be shown to you in posts, unless you edit each post and check the "show my signature" option.

I suggest you install phpMyAdmin. It will help you in getting everything setup easier, a web based control panel for MYsql basically.

The two logins to the admin panel was an added security feature. It prevents people who might have hacked your board and stolen the automatic login cookie access to your admin panel, because they still need to have your password. :).

Two:Did that error appear after the upgrade?

phpBB Plus is a modified version of phpBB that isnt supported by phpBB.com. You will need to contact the author's site(phpbb2.de I belive) for assistance.

Try clearing your Browsers Cookies,Temporary internet files, also, this may have something to do with your cookie settings in phpBB. Do you have access to a database administration tool such as phpMyAdmin?
